Tom Stultz currently serves as an advisor to JMI Sports after a 10-year stint as the sports marketing company’s president.
Tom’s long media career moved him from the newspaper industry to college sports in 2004 when he was named President & CEO of Host Communications. After Host was sold, Tom become SVP & Managing Director of IMG College until the end of 2011. Tom negotiated contracts with major universities and assisted in the launch of two college sports networks.
Tom’s newspaper career spanned more than 37 years starting as an obituary writer and finishing as president of a group of suburban and community newspapers based in Georgia.
Tom accepted Christ in January 1977, and is a co-founder and former president of Worldwide Tentmakers, Inc, a missions agency that promotes, prepares and places self-supporting witnesses worldwide. A native of Greenup, KY, Tom and his wife, Pat, have two daughters, two sons-in-law, and six grandchildren in the Greenville, SC area. He earned his MBA from Georgia State University in 2002 at the age of 50.
